Lyrics: Verse 1 But I, I feel so ashamed Like I’m not the same And I, don’t even feel that they care Maybe because of the clothes I wear Maybe because of the clothes I wear But I’m not the one to be told around If you’ve got nothing nice to say, then please sit down I may not be perfect, but that’s okay I think I’m beautiful and it doesn’t matter anyway It doesn’t matter anyway I wear daggy clothes and I’m not that type I don’t listen to Drake and I’d take a steak over a salad any day Any day I’m not that cool, don’t tell me who to be Don’t tell me shoulders back and act more like a lady A lady And I’m happy, so happy being the woman I am now And the world can hate me but I won’t back down Chorus This is us They never seemed to give a damn This is us Like we’re throwing it all away This is us They told us we were nothing at all They’d rather we go our own ways This is us See everyone we’re all the same This is us Despite our differences and our own little ways This is us We love and care but we just waste it away This is us This is us This is us Verse 2 But I, I feel so drained Like I’m not the same And I don’t even feel that they care Maybe because of the way I behave Maybe because of the way I behave But I’m not the one to be told around If you’ve got nothing nice to say, then please sit down I may not be perfect if that’s what you say But I think I’m great and it doesn’t matter anyway It doesn’t matter anyway I wear trashy clothes and I’m not that type That drinks a VB on a Sunday night And you know what I’d just like to proudly say I watch TV with my mum on weekdays With my mum on weekdays I’m happy, so happy being the man I am now And the world can hate me but I won’t back down Chorus This is us They never seemed to give a damn This is us Like we’re throwing it all away This is us They told us we were nothing at all They’d rather we go our own ways This is us See everyone we’re all the same This is us Despite our differences and our own little ways This is us We love and care but we just waste it away This is us This is us This is us Verse 3 But I’m not the one to be told around If you’ve got nothing nice to say, then please sit down I know I’m not perfect but that’s okay Cause we’re all precious in our own special ways Our own special ways I wear daggy clothes and I’m not that type That’s happy and embraced their whole entire life It’s the love in our hearts that will get us through Regardless who we are we should mean something to you We are we should mean something to you Outro This is us, so please remember us for who we are This is us, so please remember we’re the same

Our Reunion 05:47
Dialogue: SAMANTHA: You know how much I love you. Don’t you Sam SAM: I do. SAMANTHA: The world may not want us, but I sure as hell do. And, I am just so thankful that I have you in my life. Cause, you make it worth it… All of it. So, I just wanted to thank you, from my heart, for caring for me. SAM: I love you.

Dialogue: MARK: Hey Sam. How you going? Alright? SAM: Yeah, I’m fine thanks Dad. Sometimes its just hard I find. Life is. I mean one moment everything hits rock bottom, then the next you feel on top of the world. Like. Like it’s really confusing. MARK: Yeah I know what you mean. We all do. I don’t think life was ever meant to be an easy task. I mean if it was, well, we wouldn’t be human because we all have emotions, like happy and sad ones. We all face problems, day in and day out. And we all crave to be loved and cared for, every day of our lives. You know, when I was younger I’d always wish one day I'd become famous. Be one of the greats like Bowie, and Michael Jackson, and Paul McCartney. And it’d keep me up most nights thinking about how I would reach that status. Like what things I could do to gain that outstanding recognition? Well, for starters, I was never a strong academic, I wasn’t amazing at sport, I could maybe play an instrument or two, and I had a few close mates but, nowhere near enough friends to build up my own reputation socially. So, I thought to myself, ‘what on earth would I do?’ It seemed these idols of mine were born gifted, cause, at ages 12 and 13 they were already hitting the world stage. And well like me, I was a 16-year-old high school student with nothing to say about myself. I soon feared I’d be forgotten, and that the world wouldn’t care about me if I was gone. I was a figure without any form of worthy legacy… But then I realised I was completely wrong. I was lying in my room one night, sobbing at the fact I’d never become anything, and your grandmother walked in and sat herself right down beside me. And she placed her head against mine, and she let me shed all of my tears out. And then as I stopped, she turned to give me a hug. Whispering in my ear that she loved me more than anything. And then I understood what it meant to be more than just a star, more than living life as someone people would remember for decades to come, more than any of that… It was our love. Our Family. Our Friends. The moments we share with them mean more than anything a lifetimes worth of fame can provide. So, make sure you value them even when things get tough, because I promise you, they’ll make it worth it in the end. SAM: Thanks Dad. That really means a lot… I love you. MARK: I love you too.
